Our time on Earth is short, by painting the landscape in situ I really connect with a space, looking so hard for colour, tone, texture and temperature, imprinting a place in my core. One day, when it's not possible to visit these places I will be able to recall them by closing my eyes. But you can have the work now, to live with and to enjoy.

I'm also very interested in creating landscape works to commission, to hear clients' storytelling of why a place, a view is so special, sharing their passion for a place.

I've found a way to work landscapes in watercolour that pleases me, everyday in Aug 21 I created a new painting in this medium in the Scottish Highlands, there are plans to do the same in different places.
